Latest Happenings

This year has flown by and it’s already September! It’s been a pretty quiet winter as far as our band, Oxo Cubans (NZ) goes. But that doesn’t mean we’ve been idle. Far from it. Behind the scenes we are planning and scheming and ramping up for the run in to Christmas. We have some gigs coming up between now and then which sees us play in Christchurch and Invercargill as well.

But more importantly, we are gearing up for next year and looking ahead to be a refreshed and raring to go Oxo Cubans (NZ) Trio, featuring Craig Reeves, Doug Wright and myself. New songs, new ideas and a refreshed sound is something we are all looking forward to. 2025 will likely see us celebrate our 30th Anniversary as well. So, lots to look forwrad to. If you’re a fan we hope you’ll stick with us. . If you’re not a fan yet, do come and see us play sometime. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
